My man did time here in the late 90s. It was dreadful even then but looks like things are getting worse.
See now THAT is a real worry when the basic need of water isnt provided.

My man is a lifer in a nearby unit and they have brown bag sandwiches for all meals, 4 days a week. Apparently someone died of heat stroke in his unit recently.
I agree and for that reason I prefer the PTO forums for such issues. Most of the posters there are wives/girlfriends/husbands/mothers, etc of inmates and therefore have a much deeper personal interest in the problems they face. The Connally unit and the lack of water, not being able to flush the toilets has been discussed a lot on there recently.
Due to staff shortages, my man is also in the cell 24 hours a day. He had one hour of outside rec in 6 days. I'm worried he'll get rickets!
