Can you not get an additional landline in the house in your name? In your bedroom, for example?

I would if that's what it took to speak to my man. If I want to hear his voice or he wants to hear mine I have to get on a plane for 10 hours and fly 5,000 miles. But I do it.

But if they are going to allow mobile phone calls anyway then maybe an additional line won't be necessary.

For the last year, I carried an account with Correctional billing services because I had to have the 3rd party account for the calls to go through to my cell when it was on AT&T, but with Sprint I don't think it's necessary because 2 months ago I was recieving calls from someone that I didn't even know that was in the county jail in Tulsa, OK. So I figured, if it worked for that dude, it should work for K.

As far as visits go, I am hoping to go back to AZ in about a year or so to see family and hopefully get to make it out to see K. It's a 2 day 1200 mile drive from Muskogee to Tucson.

It would be amazing if this could be possible but the registration for the Texas phone system is very strict, I will wait and see what T.D.C.J. publish on there web site before I start to party

Nope, My guy is in ASPC Yuma/San Luis... Oh crud... here I go again posting in the wrong sections... ick...

I'm not sure where I belong. My penpal's at USP Beaumont. That's in the federal system but is there information in this section that can still apply? Or is this section mainly for TDCJ? Am I the only one who thinks that Texas is this whole other world?

I think but i could be wrong Federal Facilities are more lenient about phone calls, but I am sure if I am wrong someone will quickly point it out.............But Yes I have to agree Texas is a whole other state

No, I can't already have phonecalls because we just get to know eachother but yet it is like I have known him all my life. I received 7 letters so far and now I start wondering how it would be to hear his voice. In my heart I hear his voice all the time so ...
