Default Books refused by subject matter?

Hey, wondering if there's a general consensus across most prisons in regards to subject matter of books... I know that books describing how to make weapons etc. are not allowed.
I have in mind a non-fiction/history book about the gangs in New Zealand to send to my PP, but am a little worried that it will be rejected.
Any experience with this would be appreciated!
PP is in Federal if it makes a difference

Thanks for the link - I knew it would be somewhere.

Do you think a book on gang activity would fall under "(5) It depicts, describes or encourages activities which may lead to the use of
physical violence or group disruption;" ?

I'm wondering the same thing ! I think my pp could enjoy to read a French Classic, The Count Of Monte Cristo, but since it's about a man imprisoned while innocent who escapes and pretends to be persons he's not... I'm not sure it'd be allowed.

My pp reads BDSM book, yet was stopped from reading a book on the amateur radio licence training syllabus. It's a strange world.
