yes i just sign paper, because my dad has always handle all the legal papers for our family i don't think anything of it, never have thought anything of it, he says sign and i sign. i only found out about his parole address being mine after talking to my dad again, and the reason for that is my dad's home is full of guns, he is ex army and still has a thing for rifles and handguns.
think whatever you like, i'm just happy my baby brother is home.
So you don't even know if they did a home visit? Your Dad never said "Oh, BTW Pixie the Parole office came out to your house today and did an inspection". That never ONCE came up in conversation? Not only did your Brother not parole to the address he said he was paroling to, he went straight to a house that is "full of guns" after being out for less than a day? Is your Brother that stupid that he would jeopardize his parole that way? If he continues making these decisions he won't be out for long. For someone that has so many people in their life locked up I have a hard time believing that you are this ignorant of how things work.

I'm not ignorant about how things work, when it comes to our family legal matter my father has always taken care of everything, it's never something i've needed to question him on. Never give it much thought it's always been that way my whole life. I handle the family final plans and he handles all legal matters. And yes my brother is that stupid...if he was not stupid to start with he would not have ended up in lock up. I don't think he will be out for long, he was not the last time he got parole was out 3 months, and because he does not like to follow rules he went back. He is a problem child always has, and hate to say always will be, but i always enjoy the time where he is free.

Perhaps if you and your family helped him to follow the rules he might be more successful in staying out of prison. Did I read that you have children? Are you not worried about your children being around someone that can't follow the rules?

Also I don't know of any parole office approving a home without meeting the occupants of the house beforehand.

My baby brother is 6'8" as a family we can tell him would we would like to see happen, but it's his choice what he does. Yes i have children, i have 3 ages 18,16,12 they have been around convicts their whole lives, and know what happens if you don't follow the rules, i've never had any problems with my children. Just because they have been raised around family that are problem children does not mean anything...they learn by what i show them, what i teach them. What i show them is if you want something in life you have to work for it, nothing easy is worth it and something worth it will not be easy. And if you want to be stupid and break the laws you will be like Baby Boy (we don't use real names here or so it's my understanding).
My older brother also lives with me, and when he gets home for work if i'm still home, i will have to talk to him about if he met with a parole officer about baby boy coming him to live when he got out. It was my father's ideal for my older brother to be my roommate after what happen to me in 2008, and i actually don't mind having him around, he is a retired Marine, who better to be home with my kids even tho they are old enough not to need a sitter, than a Marine.

Forgive me, but I'm finding this a little hard to follow.

If I understand this correctly, your father has lied to the authorities and by signing the papers you are also complicit in lying to the authorities about exactly where your brother will be living while on parole. Do you not understand that you could face legal action because of that? What happens if the parole officer turns up tomorrow morning at 6am to do a drug test on your brother?

I hope you don't have an aggressive police department where you live.

Lord knows they certainly can be (aggressive police dept.) I cannot believe how often I see the unmarked car parked in front of my neighbor's house who is home on house arrest. They're there all the time!!!! Taking it seriously.

SWAT Officer Daryl Hudeck also rescued two small puppies from flood water on Sunday.

I guess other states have different rules than Texas when it comes to Parole.

My baby brother is actually going to be living with me, he was just spending a little time with dad. Dad left me voice mail since i was at work that they would be by today with all his stuff, we meet with his parole officer monday morning. I did find out, my older brother handled the home visit while i was at work. I live in a little college town, so the police are not really aggressive unless you are about campus or the bars. I know most of the police here due to one of my jobs is at a local gas station so i deal with them a lot. My baby brother is going to have a lot of babysitters..and i want him to stay out, but i know him. BTW i'm in Ohio things are different here when you don't live in the larger cities.
