I've only just started using this website, and I think I sent 2 of the same mail to someone as it said it hadn't sent so I re sent and it then said I had reached the limit of 5 in a 30 day period. Is there no way of being able to send more or is it completely capped at 5? Also if someone messages me back does it mean it won't let me send one via corr links?

Hi Amanda, welcome to WAP!

The e-mails sent via WAP are indeed capped at 5 in a 30 day period. Alternative 'digital' means of writing would be using Corrlinks or similar. There's always the option to send out and actual letter, the addresses are listed on the profiles.

Corrlinks is a separate service, so sending messages back and forth there will be no problem.

So you sent an email and it didn't go through so you sent it again and then it said you reached the limit? That doesn't make sense. Or is it just me? lol. You should have like 3 left! As Phiend said, Corrlinks is a separate service, once the inmate receives your email/letter with your email address in it (assuming you gave it) then he/she can add you to their account on corrlinks and you guys can email.

It didnt make sense to me either. So nope your not going mad....yet hahaha

I just figured she sent out 3 e-mails earlier on But you know what they say about assumptions

Correct phiend this is my english stupidity making an appearance and not stating the correct info, my pc is on the blink (kids have used it= slowly broken) so its hard to zoom in on the mob and read all the info regarding wap.
Thankyou very much for filling me in on all this. I had been asked for a photo (face to name) and I feel that's where it duplicated the message. I don't think I can do it via corrlinks, which means I shall have to pick up that strange stick teenagers have no concept up named a pen and write
