The Broken Column
Quiet plains of shaded shapes Queen,
Your old wound, your broken column;
Dark days Statuesque with permanent pains
Every day Calvary enhanced by each nail
The inner storm, and the shouts, the moaning;
That yoke sustaining your body who tears up
The cries your holding and your defying attitude
bears in your pupils two quiet doves
The whole message is here: "I'm suffering but still hoping,
It might be a void world , but it's never Dark;
I give my all body to life beautifulness"
"These nails were hurting me from midnight to midnight
Didn't mean anything to me. the bigger one to my heart
is the painful one: This nail is you Diego!".
Saoirse

The Broken Column - Frida Kahlo - 1944
"Don't forget that I cannot see myself- that my role is limited to being the one who looks in the mirror"
"There are no reasons to live, but there are no reasons to die either- the only way we have left to testify our despite of life is to accept it. Life is not worth the pain to leaving it..."
Jacques Rigaut
