She is doing well but not much on the computer at the moment. Its healing nicely doctors says its healing surprisingly fast but still it will take time. She still has the pump in her leg but hopefully not for much longer. I will tell her to check this thread and give a proper update but she is doing ok

Like Ashy said; I am doing much better. Hopefully they will remove the pump from my leg soon. It is annoying me very much, but has done wonders for the healing of the wound. The doctors tell me it's healing much faster than they anticipated. The surgeon that operated on me looked at it and said it was probably since I was so young and healthy. I batted my eyelashes at him and said: "Well, thank you!" and he blushed!! He's too cute! Let's forget for a moment that it would be a complete "cougar moment" to flirt with him. Since I am happily engaged, I behaved like a good girl.

Still they expect it to be months until it is completely healed, and I'll need a skin graft to cover the wound when it has healed enough. As soon as they remove the pump I'll go horseback riding again. Well, as soon as the doctors allow me to, that is. They have already given me the permission to go for walks in the woods as soon as the pump comes off, so I can't wait. I am so fed up with staying in the house, and watching TV. Blah!!
