Each experience is very individual I guess.
I'm hijacking horribly but: so true. And I really hate that when women descend on preggos with their own personal horror stories. I wouldn't rant like that to someone if I knew they were expecting.

A good thing I will never forget was the first time I read a book the whole way through. It was in the back of the car on the way to school. It was 'Green Eggs and Ham' hahah

Bad thing, when I was in high school a friend confessed to me that she was having a sexual relationship with her 45 year old, not to mention creepy, English teacher. That moment changed me forever as I had did report them and I basically had to leave school for a bit because I was being threatened by people....scary 0.o

Well, the most recent comes to mind. My Daughter had to have her wisdom teeth pulled out December of last year. After it was over the nurse came and got me and her mother. My Daughter was sitting there all doped up still from the anesthesia. The nurse and her mother kept waving and lifting her arms to try to bring her back to "reality". She kept fighting them, and they finally pulled her up to her feet. She shoves their hands away, and then walks across the room. She then threw her arms around my neck, jumped into my arms, and laid her head on my shoulder. It was just like she was a little girl again (she's fourteen). She's almost as tall as me now, but it reminded me of those days long lost. It was an awesome feeling for me! I guess nothing replaces the comfort of a loving father, no matter how old you get. It's one of my favorite memories in my life, and I'll always cherish it. She'd kill me if she knew I told you guys, ha ha.

and puking all over my shoes. I can't run with you sports
I'm hanging on the porch and I'm having fun today....

The summer before my grandpa died he took me up to the mountains for my first time ever in las vegas. We watched the sunset and there was a beautiful double rainbow. I remember saying how much I loved rainbows. He died two years ago on May 29th and after the funeral I drove up there super upset and I watched the sunset in the same place and I remember looking up and seeing double rainbows. Now everytime I see one I think that maybe he is watching over me. This is a picture of the sunset and it is my favorite picture ever. Also a moment I will never forget because honestly what are the chances of that happening twice.

The night of the planetary convergence. All the planets lined up, and it was supposed to be a moment of great cosmic significance. A group of my ragged counter-culture mates and I trekked up to the top of the highest mountain in East Gippsland. It was a perfectly still and clear night. Nobody had a telescope or even binoculars, so we couldn't see the planets, just the moon and the bright stars. The pagans danced, the buddhists chanted, the muslims prayed, the christians sang hymns. Everybody got stoned or drunk. There was kissing and hugging aplenty.
After midnight, the Aurora Australis leapt out of the horizon, and hovered over our heads. Shimmering, changing colours.

It was not a night of great cosmic significance. In the cosmos, nothing that humans do, or perceive, is significant. We slept amongst the rocks on the mountaintop, and the next day went back to our tasks.
