Ok I remembered why I came in here for. I'm having a horrible day so in an attempt to cheer myself up I got up and started making Red Velvet Cupcakes. I've made 66 so far. And I'm not even gonna eat it all :/ So me thinks my neighbors will all be receiving cupcakes. And the f*cked up part is, I still feel like ****. Okay, so this is like half a smile? lol. Half a smile because I got up from sitting in the same spot the entire day and staring like a zombie at my ceiling.

There is a slight, and I do mean slight, chance that someone on this forum has somehow, due to brilliance on their own part, made a dent in the soft tissue of my impaired brain and gotten me to understand something about "this phone thing" that causes weekly consternantion to me. Maybe, just maybe, this person has said something that made a tiny little light bulb of understanding go off (2 years in) so that MAYBE I can figure this out better.

FINALLY!!!! I just put my son on a plane and closed that door; watch out Europe my son is coming!!! 9 months of planning, and he isn't a cheap date, either.

He is traveling with a group of teenagers... 17 boys, 25 girls... I was concerned because of the high ratio girls to boys... he informed me - "Dad, I don't want to deal with the American girls. I want to find me a foreign one." Okay then.... I hope my European WAP friends are ready for him!

This is very corny but I just want to do it. There are some very nice people on this forum. For multitudes of reasons.

I was in a very odd mood today and made happy by a neighbor bringing over a load of strawberries, unsolicited help, people offering me things...and just knowing I have food to eat and a roof over my head. (even if I cannot figure out the bloody prison phone system, ha ha!... even if I didn't get enough done today that I thought I should have...) I was very emotional when I woke up, got some great writing done, got to share it with people... hey- what in the heck more can I truly ask for? A hot meal and a good book tonight? You know... it's not so dang bad.

There are too many displaced, hungry, and war torn people suffering in this world tonight. I am lucky. I am well. I might be corny but I feel it.
