Singing at the top of my lungs (and I can't sing a NOTE!) in my car to Shinedown's "Simple Man" on a sunny day!

Plus my youngest is turning 10 tomorrow which means that 10 years ago today, I was in labor. I'd much rather be singing in my car!

Also, despite my life being too busy right now to really do anything about it, my Muse kicked in heavy this morning bringing artistic motivation.

Driving a load of ten year olds and 3 whoopie cushions home from the arcade.

Ater a month of very uncomfortable silence, my pp called me today and we cleared things up. I am so happy that I heard him because we never really called (this was the 3rd or 4th time in a year). We talked about some misunderstandings and he told me he's taking pics next week to send me (never had one from him!!) and that he was halfway through the book I sent him last week for his birthday. He liked it.

It felt so good to hear him but still it's not in the awesome phonecall thread because he gave me some bad news too. Positive thing I can think of is that I managed to stay cool and encourage him and stayed positive to make him forget the hell he's in and only started crying after we hung up.

I love him.

This is so awesome. It's really, really hard to go through someone's incarceration with them in some ways, isn't it? I'm so glad you could connect and perhaps deepen your relationship with him. It's so helpful to clarify when you've been in the silence.

Thanks Gooddog! It IS!! It's hard at times, especially when you live such different lifes, speak another language and when the story is SO sad that sometimes you have even troubles to believe everything. He really goes through a bad time. Mentally and physically. And I find it very hard to always stay unselfish and altruïstic towards him. But he deserves it so so much.
