Imagine if you have to change your diet all 10 to 12 weeks because suddenly you can not have XY but instead you can eat ZZ again it's getting complicated. I have no idea why it is changing all the time and it's only one or two things each time that I have to exchange for other food. This is what drives me crazy, because it hits you without warning. And as a consequence you always have problems first and then you can change your diet. Which is not so good in your everyday life.
And you are right, there are people who have to deal with much worse things and I don't complain watching out it's just annoying that this .... is changing all the time. hehehe
Sorry the inconvenience of bad translation! I didn't mean you by saying it. When I said "you get used to it" I was stating my case. I really am sorry about what you have to face. My blood sugar level is so irrelevant. I hope you'll find some medium way to overcome this. Feel free to discuss it, if need be.

My moan is that it is about to turn 100+ degrees here for a couple days. I JUST went to the beach for 5 days... 75 degree perfection at all times. I purposely went there to get away from the hot, here. But the hot didn't happen here until NOW when I am still HERE. I don't want to be HERE when it's hot, I want to be THERE. And, NO I can't just pick up and go whenever I want... "I wish."

So now I will remember the story of my pp having to sit in the chow hall, elbow to elbow, while it's 106 degrees, buncha dudes he doesn't want to be around and getting shot in the arse while he'd really just like to eat the not great and not enough food they give him and STOP COMPLAINING that I'm hot but this is hard.
    Cuz I hate being hot.
    Really hate. Being hot.

average surrounding temp for gooddog's maximum output: 55-75 degrees

*we had 108 here once. I ask you....

Also it's a full moon so I fully expect heat + full moon to = mayhem in Portland. Always does. Bring on the sirens.

My pp's profile is removed ... I don't know why, and I also haven't heard anything from him for a month and a half now, so I'm started to get worried

New Year's Day, just before I left Goongerah, it was 45 degrees celcius, and a full moon.

The total village (population about 60) went completely bare-arsed doolallie. One of the reasons I had to move to the big city.

People lose their friggin' minds here when it's that hot. Here is a marker of the heat madness which I'm sure I will see today: when you start to see guys on something (too much drink, meth, crack, not sure which) walking down the boulevard with their shirts off, all sweated out, cussing and talking to themselves. Yep, it's siren time.

No no I got it right. I wanted to say it like "You get used to it, and I would get used to it too if it wouldn't change all the time...." It's alright. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Hehehe.

Franconia, what kind of diet problem is it? I mean, is it intolerance, weight loss, blood sugar...?

Dammit! Olivetti have just advised me that they can no longer supply ribbons for my 1970 Officemaster.

Does anyone know if there is a black market for typewriter ribbons?

Franconia - Have you tried prebiotics? I know I don't understand all that is going on with you and your situation, just a thought after a discussion I had with a nutritionist friend a while back. My doctor never mentioned it to me as a way to help, but it can make a big difference to some conditions. Something like this one:

    Emed - Bioceuticals UltraBiotic 45
