Sorry to hear Sunray, i don't get that either. You would think they had more reason not to do as they have seen and experienced with other family members.

It's OK girls, it's just damned frustrating that with all the apparent support he has, he still can't keep his sh*t together. He is angry at the world. Very sad.

No, not at all, but it has not been addressed by the parent who has been "taking care" of him for the past 8 years, and before that since hubby and his wife divorced. Throwing money at a problem doesn't always solve it, and neither does blaming the absent parent for things that happen after the split, but that's how this particular situation has evolved.

I've spent 8 years constantly encouraging hubby to maintain contact with #2 son, despite almost complete silence from the son. We all complain about not hearing from our pals for a few weeks, but just imagin how difficult it is to keep writing to someone for 8 years with only 1 or 2 responses during that time. It is highly frustrating that #2 son is smart, but not smart enough to understand that he is the one who holds his future, not his parents or grandparents.

Just really listening to music on low but out loud is the only suggestion I have Stu...it might cost you just as much to get it fixed as well. I went and took my sons phoneto the O2 shop last week his screen smashed on his Blackberry so anyway she told me it would be at least 100 to fix. He would be as well getting a new phone if thats gonna be the cost of it.

Stu another suggestion is STOP listening to music and get some real work done haha
