...and good riddance to her, IMO. I love people who think friendship is based on what you will do for them, illegal or otherwise. Not.

One of my daughters is totally gross. She's a lifetime offender, I'm sure. In preschool her teacher told me, "She always walks the other way when it's clean up time." Yes and that is STILL going on.

Luckily I now have weapons to use against them. Electronics. Taking electronics away from my children brings me such joy... as if I am floating on pink clouds. hahahaha that sounds so familiar!!! 2 days ago it was HILARIOUS, watching my mother try to get them to clean their room. I told her to let me take over, last time I stepped in I got them to clean it and oh such fun we had!

Kids: "Why do we have to clean our room? Mom doesn't make us!"
Me: "I'm not your mom..."

*2 hours pass of them "cleaning" their room, aka running around and giggling*

How can they be so comfortable with mess?!?! HOW?!!?! It's like selective vision, they just don't WANT to see the mess they make. I seriously found dirty clothes in Liberty's bag of food. Mind you, I have NO Idea how dirty clothes wind up in my dog's bag of food :/ And of course they had NO idea who did it and NONE of them saw it. Sigh. lol

That's why I say they're mental! Anyone who thinks the proper place for a half eaten sandwich is on a shelf is mental.

How about this gem: my daughter (the slob one) trims her nails on the dark carpet in front of the TV and gets up and walks away leaving trimmings and clippers on the floor. I come in and go, no, seriously you did not. Oh, seriously she did. What fun to point to the vacumn cleaner in pantomime language, mimic a person cleaning up after themselves and pointing to the mess making the internation symbol for "no" face. LOL!

(I have to laugh at times or I swear to god they will have to put me in a ward from trying to figure out how people can do these things.) Please note it does not matter if I say it 500 billion times. Okay, this is what I don't get. Let's use a prison metaphor, since it is WAP.

Inmate A wants to do some sort of illegal shenanigans.
Correctional Officer B who comes on shift at this day at this time likes to put a big red slash mark through the shenanigans of Inmate A. Not happening on his watch.
Inmate A insists upon his course of action regardless whereas if he would either not do the shenanigans to begin with or at least wait until Correctional Officer C comes on duty who will not sanction such shenanigans one would imagine that Inmate A, on his current course of action is:

1) slightly stupid
2) has no understanding of actions = consequences, especially in the presence of Correctional Officer B
3) just doesn't care

See, I'm trying to figure out what my daughter is about: is she... dumb? No, she's in fact one of the smartest kids I could imagine.
Does she have no understanding of the law of consequences? How can that be? She lives with me and has 100% predictable consequences every time. (Because I am Correctional Officer B)
Is it that she just doesn't care? No, I don't think it's that... that's jaded and nihilistic and she's really not that.

My scientific conclusion is that she is mental.

I'm sure this is temporary caused by teenage-hood. One can only hope. Either that or she's going to have to have extremely tolerant room mates and relationships.

No mail Been almost 2 weeks since I last had mail. His last letter said he will write me the next day to let me know about his disiplinary hearing and he always write when he said he would. If he weren't in administrative detention now, I wouldn't trip on it. Maybe mail is just super slow since his prison just got off lockdown. Just hope letters didn't get lost somehow.

Aaaaargh I wish my PP didn't have that many PPs. I would get letters more often. I want one now!!
