Being the oldest of three, soon to be four girls sucks! To make matters worse, I have given my 19 yr sister a job working for my new company. Last summer she worked for me and she was lazy, disrespectful, and needless to say it did not work out. Against my better judgement I gave her a second chance (its more like a 5th chance) and now she is back to her old ways.

We have a home office that is serving as storage for the new baby stuff (my mom is due in like 3 weeks!) so I took my sister to starbucks yesterday to get some work done. She spends 2 hours writing one blog and then is tapped out for the day. When I bring it up later she goes "Well you just sat there and wrote letters to your pen pals."
HELLO! Its my business! That's why it says CEO on my business card and if I want write my pen pals, or sit there and do absolutely nothing I CAN! But I am paying her to do a job and the fact that she can't follow through with anything, and expects me to throw a party just because she got one thing done is BEYOND ANNOYING!

Its my own fault for hiring her again, but its still disappointing that nothing motivates her- not respect for me and how hard I work, not the fact that I am CONSTANTLY going out of my way to do things for my family that my mom is not in a financial position to do, or the fact the my sister needs the money and this should be treated like a normal job! NOTHING! If she doesn't get out of bed and spare me another argument about why what I say goes, I might just lose it!!!!

AMA I know that feeling too well, I employed a friend of mine who was flat broke and she fcuked me over AND cost me an advertiser with her fcuk up. And then after was all said and done she had the nerve to be sh!tty with me!

You have got to be ****ing kidding me......................................... I FINALLY kick myself to start replying to my stack of letters (bad QB), and I told myself that for this once I'd type it, at least that way it would go faster and I wouldn't procrastinate another day .... I finished typing up one letter and I hit print, I'm practically out of ink!!! this figures. LOL. Anyways, I just ordered some ink online, should be here in the morning, then I will be able to mail everything out tomorrow. And when I get back tonight I can continue with my other letters. Geez.. d'oh...

How annoying is that! And this girl was supposed to be your friend?! And then to be a b*tch after the fact is just over the top!

Its really beyond me how these people complain about being broke and needing money, yet they throw away opportunities. When I was in college I did everything from paint murals to clean houses to support myself. My sister has the opportunity to sit in the air conditioning and get paid $10/250 words, doing something she loves (writing)! This is probably going to be one of those lessons she has to learn on her own the hard way, but it sucks that its costing me time and money in the process. I guess since she has got the whole world figured out these days and doesn't need anyone telling her how to run her life, she will figure out how to pay her bills next semester too.

She was doing the content writing for one of my websites and she just copied and pasted it all from wikipedia! How dumb does she think I am to think it wouldn't get picked up?! The site had already been submitted and silly me I trusted her and didn't think to scan it for copyscape. So she cost me an advertiser...

And yeah she blasted me on Facebook etc.

    Stupid whore.

I hate publishers. I really do. WHY would you not print your submission guidelines on your clever and beautiful website? Because you are so exclusive and erudite that only the most amazing who walk on water should bother applying and they are so special that they already KNOW the secret rules?

WHY would you make a completely incomprehensible blog or website about your literary journal that I may hope to be published in that talks nothing but nonsense about how cool and hip you are but never really tells me any facts or solid points?

Either there are 100s of rules or there are no rules and you're just supposed to guess what they want. If I were queen of the universe, this would not be allowed and there would be universal standards so I could just ONCE learn what they are instead of it being like pulling teeth to figure it out every single time anew.

I don't understand e-publishing, truly. Sometimes I want to avoid this whole thing, it's completely repellant to me. I was a lot f-ng happier when I just wrote and didn't care about "them." Back to the drawing board of that, for sure.

It seems like e-publishing may be more hassle then the results are worth. Might be time to go to more traditional publishing houses. Your work is more then good enough gooddog. Ive read it, and I feel so honored to be a part of your writing. The way you took what I had told you about my childhood and turned it into that story was awesome. That takes an incredible talent. Just write, and the RIGHT publisher will spring up in front of you.

2 cats given for free to good home any takers? Just stumbled in to the kitchen and noticed that the little dears had managed to find their way in to my flour jar I must have not put the lid down properly. And guess what? Flour all over the kitchen and little white paw prints leading out of the kitchen clearly showing who is to blame for the snow that has fallen in there today! And its 6.35 in the morning i have to leave in a couple of minutes and i cant put the vaccum cleaner on at this time so have had to scrape it all up as much as i can with a brush but its not done much! I love my cats i love my cats i love my cats if i say that enough i might just believe it lol
