My best friend nearly passed out in Jan when I got my 4th in honor of my deceased parents and siblings. He couldn't stand to see it. It is all relative to the individual. We are all unique people and things affect us all differently.

The tattoo on my thigh, which I still haven't posted pics of, because it might be found offensive by some, hurt so bad all I could do was laugh, hysterically...I am so glad the shop was closed at the end...It hurt pretty bad, but it's something I wanted, not saying that kids aren't something you wanted, but I know I was glad for it to be over...and I LOVE it!

When I got the Felix tat on my leg two girls came in and asked one of the guys "how bad does it hurt?" he says " Ask her " and pointed at me. They watched Shane do the tattoo and then ask "Does it hurt?" I said "Well... it's slightly uncomfortable but no to me it doesn't hurt. "

Well... the girls decide to get one and the minute the needle hit the first girl she was screaming bloody murder. It just hurt her too bad.

I could say all day that it doesn't hurt while someone else will say it does. It just varies by person.

so true!! I have my lip pierced twice and everyone always asks "didn't that hurt?" and when I say no they don't believe me.. but everyone's pain threshold is different. My PP said all of the places I want to get a tattoo are painful areas (under the bust, feet, ear) I am afraid to go ahead and book a session incase the pain ends up being unbearable and I have to stop..that would be so embarrassing lol

feet are tender, it is diffrent the what a normal tat feels like. it burns more then a stick. My right foot has a flower design on it,. and a butterfly on my toe.

when getting a tat on your foot, it also can cramp your toes lol. thats the worst of it for me.

I've got 7 so far... have so many I want :s but I'm trying to keep em places I can cover up somewhat
