Waiting on the plumber, why is always big financial problems occur at the end of the month sooo far from pay day? This house built in 1940 has many old yet still good features. when something breaks like water return pipe in kitchen, they are so surprised.."you have a lead pipe return!"..old house...Time off work, stress, and high hopes for an easy fix. I did learn how to place a service call online and lucked into double coupon Wednesday..Just venting. Think I will take rest of day off and go see if any pp mail at PO Box!

Painful, yet I survived. We did not have to cut the outer wall and redo all the plumbing, took 3 hours to cut and weld a new pipe extension. Repair company is familiar with old homes, so I was lucky this time. Thanks for support!

My house was built in 1918, it seems like with old houses, nothing is an easy fix! I hate it but I sure do love my big old house! Not like you are going to find many brand new houses with all the things the old houses had. I have 3 floors 7 bedrooms 4 baths and a big wrap around porch. All i need is a plantation out my window
