It sounds simply awful. I had no idea what it was like till I read up. He sent me such a lovely letter to. I think he's happy to have a friend. I hope I can be a good one to him, I've not dealt with DR before. He told me to look out for 3 books he just read that he recommended. I ordered them and they arrived today. Looking forward to giving him my thoughts on the book. I hope he likes the sunset and sunrise. Such a small thing to make him smile.

I come to this thread a bit late but my pp is in the DR in Ely state as well,it's funny because he always recommend me some books also and love sunset too
You can send big pictures,I did a lot and he got everything.Just make sure that you put his name and number on the back.

Sounds to me like maybe we write to the same person *smiles* though he chewed me out in my recent letter as I haven't started reading those 3 books he insisted I try yet though I did buy them from Amazon immediately he suggested them. I am still reading another one at the moment. I didn't put his number on the back of his photos, but he did get them. I was still a beginner back then and didn't know I had to, they even gave him the cardboard backed envelope (A4) that I sent them in, they were 10x8 prints so I guess I was lucky there! I do know my pal writes to quite a few others, he has never hid it from me

Yeah me too,he has few penpals including one in Japan He has no news from him so he is really worried.
Maybe it's the same penpal,maybe not
But who cares ?
As long we make him happy,it's great to me!
It would be cool though,that way I will not have to read his books anymore,just email you and ask for a resume hihihiih

You ladies will be happy to know that I just sent a very large box of books to the Ely State Prison library drive! I feel so happy when they are going to put all those new books on the shelf....!

I will really have to laugh if the book discussion turns to a book that came from MY house!!!!!!! Small world.

It's a great way to recycle used books, most especially if they are not of great value and can't be resold for much profit anyhow. Plus, if you want to clear out space and clutter, books are a great way to start especially if you're really not going to read them again and they don't have much collector or sentimental value.

Wouldn't that be cool if it was indeed a book that came from your house gooddog *giggles* I quite like that idea
