I was told that after serving 33% of time non-violent offenders will be up for parole does anyone know if its true?

are you talking about ACT 186? every 30 days of good behavior they take off 35 days. certain programs will knock off even more time. it's not retroactive, meaning it only applies to people sentenced after august 15, 2011.
