    Default Rule 60 motion

    Hello and HELP!
Can anybody explain to me in understandable words, what a "rule 60 motion" means? I just got a letter from my PP where he writes thta his lawyer has mentiones one and that two guys told him that it is a motionto ask the court to stop an execution. He thinks that it means heīs gonna get an execution date soon.
    Thanks for your help!

I think it means his lawyer is going to ask the courts to go over stuff again, is he at the end of his appeals??

Been thinking.. His lawyer might be wanting to put the motion in to sidetrack your pp and also waste time,, if your pp has evidence that he had a crap lawyer, he can put in a motion for ineffective council against his lawyer. if its upheld he could get a new lawyer and a new trial.. im guessing he knows what he is doing tho.. just thought id put that out there.

I donīt really know how far he is with his appeals. His lawyer ssems to be a dumba... (thatīs my pp words), he once told me he wanted him to get fired because he had missed some deadlines. Nevertheless, he then abandoned this thought for some reason I donīt get. Sounded like his lawyer somehow talked him into not doing it.
Thank you, freak, I think I will send him a short letter about what you said, maybe there is a chance. I donīt know anything about this stuff and what possibilities there are, so maybe it will help.

I thought he was being a dick head lawyer trying to side track him..they do the "waste of time motiones" to deflect from the FACT they are crap lawyers, GET RID..
its in their 6th amendment, they have a right to effective council, which obviously he has not got your need a bit more than missed deadlines, but im sure your PP will be able to get a whole lot more complaints about his lawyer, good luck.
