yes, I am in love with my PP. I am a 37 year old very eligible divorced man, that went through a long period of self imposed isolation and growth, and I'd found I'd outgrown the superficial nature of my dating prospects. The woman I love is around my age, writes gorgeous flowing cursive letters that make my heart skip beats.
It started with me wanting to quell some of my demons regarding a person that was close to me that I turned my back on without understanding some of the trials and tribulations she was going through.. she is no longer alive and offering an ear to an inmate I thought would help me understand her better, to know what she went through... my 'pp' helped me understand, and I helped her by listening..
We have both been very careful to address issues of her vulnerability, our ability to be in a relationship, citing the dangers of 'the hero rescuing the princess' and working on a healthy dynamic and acceptance of each other. But in all the careful wording and attention to needs and wants there is a beautiful romance that would have erupted no matter the situation or circumstances.
I accepted fully the mistakes that she had thought would drive a partner away from her, I have offered her choices that she has never had. We are both fit and healthy and take care of ourselves, she is.. beautiful.. inside and out. I am proud of the steps she has taken before I ever came along to get and keep herself whole and sane.
She is free in 11 months now, and we're moving far from any city or situation that she's had to endure. A nice place in the woods where we have many plans for our future... including her unapologetically eating all the marshmallows out of the lucky charms.
this is a bit more than I wanted to write, I got a little carried away... but yes.. I am in love with my 'pp'. I would offer the same advice and cautions anyone would have about any relationship. Work on trust while gauging your own safety. Don't be foolish and overlook obvious problems or concerns... but do give them an honest chance to be heard without judging... and while inmates and prisoners are human beings as well, some aren't very far along the 'emotional growth' path.. and may take advantage of the situation knowingly or unknowingly.

Our situation is a little different. Although I had not met Hubby face to face before his crime, we did know each other and already had strong feelings for each other. We've been "us" for just over 5 years and married for almost 3.
