A SAUDI man who boasted about his sex life on television was sentenced to five years in jail today, his lawyer said.

Mazen Abdul Jawad was convicted by a criminal court on Sharia law-based charges relating to immoral behaviour, Sulaiman al-Jimaie said.

Three friends who appeared on the show with him were given two-year terms, Mr Jimaie said.
