Hey , does anyone know if there is anyway i can email an inmate in polunksy to let him know that a reply to his first letter in on the way , It takes around 2 1/2 weeks for my letters to get there ( Nz to USA) and he recommended i send a short email to let him know that his letter arrived safely etc. I have tried jpay however it is coming up with this user is blocked etc. I am new to all of this so any help is great help , Thanks in advance

I don't know why the user would be blocked. I haven't seen that and I JPay someone in Polunsky and it works fine.

Well that is odd. Have you checked the TDCJ inmate locator to see if he's still on polunsky? He may have been benched out to county jail if he has ongoing legal issues or appeals, etc.

I know a guy on Polunsky and he is blocked because someone tried to sign up with a bad credit card just saying

He could very well be blocked from JPay if any earlier correspondence to him through broke the rules.

You are putting the two zeroes before his TDCJ ID number, right?

Wow thats not fair at all. That should not affect the prisoner from recieving any jpay-mail or funds from others. How can they be punished for some thing that has nothing to do with them.

Don't even get me started about how prisoners are held accountable for what others do and how they pay the price......It's BS, especially when they do not get what many others are afforded......because of an address.

I have written to J-pay on his behalf as to how can he get a credit card when he has been on DR for the past 9 years still waiting on my reply but I agree with y'all he should not be punished for something he was unaware off, and he did not know he was blocked until someone told him
