Default Never in a million years did i think this could happen!

Hi everyone. Well maybe some of you know i am engaged to an inmate. He is serving LWOP...ok not a great situation to be getting Married, but love is love, in whatever way it gets you, it is hardly ever perfect..so i accepted a long time ago that this would be no "normal" Marriage.
Then a few weeks ago a new ruling about Juveniles not being able to be given LWOP was passed.

So, before anyone asks me, no i have no idea about it, i am English, have no understanding of USA laws, so NO i can't really explain what it means, lol..sorry.

Anyway, this now means that my fiance has gone from LWOP to 60 years and will be trying to go for 25 years...again long story, but all of the other states gave their junveniles 20/25 years instead of LWOP and Iowa decided to give them all 60!!
SO, my point is here, yeah i am long winded, is that NEVER GIVE UP HOPE! Write to whomever YOU feel is the person you will be able to conect with, despite their sentance, as all hope is NEVER totally lost. I don't know if i have to wait and have Zimmerframe races with him when he gets out OR if we will be together before...all i do know is that he WILL BE FREED ONEDAY!

That's wonderful! It gives me such hope! My man got life but with parole eligibility after 30 years. He will be 67 when he's eligible for parole but I have HOPE that he will be free sooner,

But if the worst comes to the worst we will have a few twilight years together.

My belief is he will not do the full 60, you will have him home sooner, no zimmer frames needed.

Never ever give up hope. It takes a minute for a person to say those words that will change his sentence from 30 years to alot less ! Trust me..i know that now
