It's been almost two months, since my pp wrote me
I sent about 4 letters, got nothing back ...
He got transfered and sent me a quick note with his new adress, and after that nothing ...
Should I send him a last letter?
Like a goodbye letter?
Or just leave it at that ...

It sucks that there's no way of knowing if he's okay, or maybe he got my letters or just can't write back, or maybe he just doesn't feel like writting.
He said it would be cool to have a picture of me, so I sent one, and after that no more news ...
My picture maybe scared me off ...
Anyways, it got me bumped ...
SO I just wanted to share ..
Guess that happens ...

I doubt very much you have been "bumped" if a change of facility has taken place and your pp had the thought to send you a quick note, they are not the actions of someone passing over a new found friend through the pen. One thing you will learn in time as most of us have, is PATIENCE.....LOL

Mate i feel bummed i know i have over a weeks worth of Jpays from my mate in limbo and they have not been passed on as yet....sigh....and then when i received mail yesterday i had 2 special cards, they were sent on his end 5 days apart....go figure.

Also ive just waited a month for a letter from one of my pp's who i know likes writing to me, he dosent date his letters and i couldnt read the date on the postmark, but when it arrived on Sat, the envelope was totally torn and battered, so i have no idea what happened to it. I'm also 3 weeks overdue from a letter from one of my other mates who writes regulary.
So dont worry just yet,

You know the same thing happened to me. He sent me maybe one letter after his transfer and then that was it. Even if he never writes back don't be discouraged, I ended up finding a better PP! It could be that you are meant to find someone else. I'm actually glad my old PP stopped writing because it opened me up to writing someone else and my new PP is just a great guy.

Cant it take ages when they have been moved? They have to settle in and whatever else?

Esmerelda: that's sad to have to think your photo scared him off. Gee, if that WERE true, good riddance to him is what I say! If that's what he's in it for...

But I want to say that there are many threads on this forum about "other" things that can make an inmate not write or abrubtly stop writing. Sometimes it's logistical and sometimes it is something they're going through that has nothing to do with you. I'd hang tight, send another, "hope you are well" card in a couple of weeks and if you don't hear, yep... you wish him well. There are many others who might be able to be more consistant.

Like the others said, don't worry just yet!! There are tons of things that could be going on. I sent a pic to my pp and didn't hear from him for a while and I was pretty worried too. I ended up getting a super nice letter from him...it just took a while. I hope you guys end up reconnecting again soon : )
