Every visit i have seen someone in tears and it isn't just me. The visiting staff and the regulars see it all the time it is no big deal, part and parcel of the joint. One time one of the CO's had a roll of toilet paper at their desk.....yeh no tissues.... and she came over with it and we had a laugh. You see a few days before i was chatting to her about my last day, so here it was and the tears were flowing. While my tears flow freely, mostly they are silent until i reach the car, then it aint a good look.

The things that disturb me the most in a visit, is when people argue or walk out upset and angry or two women show at the same time and the guy is caught out i always feel badly for the girls/women. The other thing i dislike is when you see and know one guy has many women yet they all think "they are the one".

In my youth in my hometown, no alcohol could be sold after six pm, not even in bars. Which led to a messy phenomenon called the "six-o'clock swill".

Nowadays, in Sydney, you can buy alcohol at any time of the day or night, seven days a week. But if you buy it in bottles, between midnight and 5am., the bottle has to be opened before you leave the bottleshop.

Its Friday all week with no drink ha! ha! it must be a first for me. Can't wait untill Sat and Sun will be good to see him again. Can i say this ? this is going to be a little odd, after my visit last weekend i find that its harder to deal with now ? i feel really close to him now i was close before but really more so now. I enjoy my time with him we laugh, smile and joke around all the time. The hours just go sooooo fast but then i think how am i going to do this ?? then i get upset. I find myself wanting to run for the hills not because i don't love and care for him because i wonder can i do this ? long term. I never went looking for this i was just a pen pal but you can't help who you get close to can you. Am i over thinking things ?

Well today not much to do again and this hotel is **** ha! ha! but i think a good coffee and relax by the pool is in order.........

That's hilarious. Every state in the union is different, here. Totally confusing. In Oregon, all state owned liquor stores, you can't by liquor in most of the stores past 7pm or on Sundays but you can drink till 2am in the bars!!! It's like, well, you can have some fun kids but not THAT much fun because we know you're not going to handle it well. (They seem to be right about that, sadly.)

They just changed that whole thing in Washington State (our neighbor.) Now they are clamoring for it in Oregon, for liquor to be available in the grocery stores instead of special, close early, state run shops. Money to be lost for the state so of course there's a fight.

Overthinking is my hobby, ha ha! Well, it changes the nature of things to meet someone face to face and have a big jump up in your closeness. You're still allowed to go with the flow and take it slow, eh? ( a little rhyme there to remind you...) Best of luck this weekend.
