R wrote me today that someone found a pile of mail in the garbage and that someone was just throwing it away instead of delivering it. THAT sucks! I guess I'll start numbering my JPays so he knows if something is missing.

That's happened before.

In the letter I got today my R told me that it took him extra long to get it because the mailroom kept writing the wrong cell number on the envelope. Idiots.

You can always complain to the mail regulation panel, who are part of the TDCJ Ombudsman's Office.

Really?? That's horrible! I haven't received my birthday present from my penpal in TDCJ and he sent it over a month ago. I'd be so upset if someone just threw it out

THATS HORRIBLE!!! My main PP is at Polunsky, and I just sent out 2 REALLY LONG letters to him. The plus side is, IF he doesn't receive them, they are saved on my computer I can just print & resend. But still, THAT SUCKS!!! It definitely isn't the first time Polunsky has had that problem!

What was lost (or throw away) was two days worth of JPays I sent on June 10th and 12th. I copied them to word, printed it out and sent it snail mail and he got that. Hope that helps.

We have also had Jpays go missing between us in Washington. I wonder if sometimes the staff are just so overworked that some get "lost".

That's odd though because unless they asked for them printed out aren't they saved in his inbox just like ours are?

They are checked by the staff first and then delivered to the inmate's inbox. Likewise what the inmate has written is checked before being sent to our inboxes.

My love just got moved there and he is gotten all my mail ... picturs, letters & jpay... And last week I got 2letters and he also reassured me he was getting everything in a timely manner i haven't got mail this week but then again no mail running cause of 4th of July ... So I hope I don't have problems with the mail there...
