I saw on lockup that there's a mini flat screen tv available in some prisons, I know a regular tube 8" TV is about 200$ but anyone knows how much is that flat one??

That's interesting. Probably 3 times as much as one would cost out here I would imagine from what I've seen with other things.

I think from memory i paid about $280 a few years back. Your right about price, what they go for from an allowed DOC vendor and what they sell on the streets is marked up, just like most other things your able to purchase.

Just to add, Access securepak is an approved vendor you could check out prices, what's available and in which states etc.....

When I first started watching shows like lock up I was actually surprised that they were allowed such things as a TV, radio, Walkman and especially a hot pot.

Surprised because you wouldn't want them to have those things, or surprised that they were permitted to have them?

Not all inmates can have TVs and walkmans or mp3 players.
