hey guys! so just called the prison today at TRCI to check on what i can wear when i go to visit. NO BLUE WHAT SO EVER! So that means no jeans and no underwire bras what so ever the guy even said seriously don't wear an underwire bra we will have you cut the underwire out. (there goes my $60 victoria secret!) I have no idea what to wear! anyone wanna help and give me some advice? i feel like running down to the costume shop and buying a nun outfit!

Ouch, no underwire bra I could NOT do that. PAINFULL! I need my underwire!! A really supportive sports bra would be my suggestion there? You can get awesome ones at Yoga/Running stores (like Lululemon if you have one of those where you are!). And you can get some pretty awesome black jeans, or coloured jeans are really in this summer (oh hello fashion tip of the day).

If visiting is something you are going to be doing regularly, then invest in a good non-wired bra and just wear it for visits. I never wear wired bras (and I'm not small by any means), and there are still pretty ones available.

It wont matter to him what you wear, he wont be looking at your clothes. In fact I would put money on him not even being able to say what you wore within 10 minutes of the visit ending. And that's a good thing, btw.

We dont have Victoria Secret in my part of Canada so I wouldn't know about those but I am sure they would have awesome ones! You could wear cups in them too to add extra support if necessary, or two seamless bras hahah.

Neon yellow would be rad! Or bright red!

So do they mean metal underwire or really all underwire? I mean some underwires are made out of plastic. How could they even know if I'm wearing one with plastic ones?

where can you get the plastic ones!? they wouldnt know just no actual wire underwire bras

If you google, there seems to be plenty options.

The blue is probably because they wear blue (the prisoners). Some places you can't wear white.

As for the underwire thing, get a good sports bra or plastic underwire one as mentioned.

Because in many prisons you have to walk through or be wanded by a metal detector.
