I was told 5-6 sheets of paper. I haven't tested that though.

Thx u 2, I read online that its pages but not sure if that includes the envelope. I will just go to the post office next time I mail a letter and see for sure

I used to write to a lady in Virginia, who was only allowed to received 1 oz of mail per letter. That meant 5 full sized sheets of paper, or 5 photographs, including the No. 10 envelope (4 1/8" x 9 1.2"). I have a postage scale that weighs to the nearest 100th of an oz. Those letters usually weighed in at .94 to .96 oz. So, you might have enough room for a snip of hair. Hope that helps.
