It took me a bit to figure out who you were referring to! LOL 8 hours a day writing? That is a lot of time. Sometimes I'll start my letters at work and finish them at home. I work in a call center so I can do whatever in between calls.

Your not silly for worrying its totally their fault we worry haha. Great you have 4 - 5 letters in a week you are totally spoiled thats great Now he has to keep that up.
Well they are obviously having a problem in Polunsky because all 4 letters arrived Saturday and were postmarked on the same day and two of my JPays either didn't get to him or they were delivered out of order. I hope things are better this week.

I still write almost every day to hubby, just a couple of sheets of A4 paper or a card or something in between. Weekends he gets a longer letter. I think there is a balance to find between regular correspondence, and too much writing that means you are not out doing things to write about.

My penpals get around 5 single side sheets of typed A4 paper once every 4-6 weeks. Usually takes me a day to do those.

I usually write to her at least a couple times a week. The typical letter is probably around 3-4 pages and we have been writing for about a year now. I also use Jpay to email her every other day. Those tend to be smaller notes, most of the time letting her know what I am thinking or doing.

At times in the past when we were just starting to write that it would get confusing on what letter of hers was answering which letter of mine. But now we know each other so well and have shared so much, we have no problem with our letters getting mixed up. Actually it can be funny when they do!

I have written a 4-6 page letter to him every day for the last 6 days. One day, I put the letter inside a card for him. Pictures have been included with every letter. Today I sent out another letter, this one being 10 pages long. I figured "what the hell" since I had nothing else going on today. Tomorrow I will take more picture for him. (He loves them) and send them along with another letter and possibly a card. He said it really makes him feel good when I write him every day. It gives him something to look forward to. Is it time consuming? Yes. But, I have worked my schedule so that I wake up in the wee hours of the morning to write the letters and then get them posted so they will head his way that very day. I enjoy doing it though. Knowing that it makes him happy and brightens his day makes it all worth it for me.

And he writes me back as soon as he gets my letters. So, we keep each other pretty busy with reading material. LOL!

I suppose everyone's different. I don't think I could cope with someone writing to me every day. I once asked my man if he wanted me to write every day (I was hoping he wouldn't because it is time consuming) and he said he prefers to hear from people once a week with all their news and when they've actually got something to say rather than a letter a day just for the sake of sending a letter.

That's not to say that those who write every day don't have much to say, those who are just starting out probably have a lot to say because they have their whole lives up to that point to talk about. But not many can keep up writing every day over a long period of time (several years, for example). I take my hat off to those that do!

I write to K everyday but if I never had anything to reply to I think id struggle to be honest. I dont do much at all and really theres only so much you want to write. I send him one (JPay) everyday and he writes to me everyday but doesnt send them daily he saves them and sends them twice a week because he cant afford it. To be honest I dont think id like a letter daily from him. I like it the way it is just now getting twice a week suits us both fine.

I don't think Polunsky is on lockdown but even so I thought they could still write then. Sigh, maybe tomorrow. If not, then I'll really think something is wrong.
When my guy was on lockdown he said that he couldn't get to te mailbox but could give it to a CO to put in the mailbox. I too thought they could still send it but I guess not as he sent three this week catching up. He can still get them though spin kept wringing but said take your time replying.

I write my guy every two to three days. My other pps I haven't heard from since my last letter but we only had one in circulation. One asked me to talk to his parole board after two letters and I said no so that could be it. He also sent me a card after his first letter so he was really trying to butter me up. Sorry lol. Sometimes I get confuse having a few letters in circulation bc I will have already caught him up on some problem that he asks about again but thn I just don't reply to that. My long letters are about 8pg double sided hand written and my writing is terrible. Then I send 2-3 shorter letters during the week if I have cool stuff going on or I send quizzes pictures random stuff
