Ok, so I've just started with a new PP and reconnected with an old one. The new one sprung a bit of a unintended pleasant surprise on me.

Now I don't write to prisoners because of any sexual interest, but that's not to say I am unaffected by it.

My new PP's picture on WAP did not match the one on the DOC site. Well it was the same person, but the one on the DOC site was about 50lbs heavier, I pointed out gentley that there was a 'slight' difference between the two photographs.

I knew this from the outset, but wrote to her anyway, I wasn't going to be picky over looks, she seemed like a nice person.

Got an letter yesterday to say her DOC picture had been updated and that she had lost 70lbs in wieght since it was taken. Hardly believing what I was reading I checked the DOC photo out.

Wow! The ugly duckling has turned into a swan. Her DOC photo is even more attractive than the one on WAP.

And of course my status is up there in clouds as being the guy who took time to write to her when she was fat and ugly.. . . . .

Just goes to show. . . . . . .

Hehe I laughed out loud when I read that part... That was funny.. Even though its whats on the inside of a person that counts it certainly doesnt hurt much if they are little hotties on the outside either :bedsex:

Ugly is a much a matter of frame of mind as a matter of physcial appearance.

If you care about your appearance, you care about yourself and how others see you, it pleases you and pleases other people that you are attractive.

If you choose (and it is always a choice) to look a mess, you signal to others that you don't value yourself and you don't value thier views of you.

Too bad if there’s nothing that can be done about how you look. Who really cares how she looks or how much she weighs. I bet she wouldn’t have judged you after seeing a picture

To me the whole point of writing is to help that person who is going through a tough time if you are so concerned if a person is fat and ugly thats not what writing is about
