Default full mailbox and moving pps

    Good day all,

What a suprise to get 4 letters from 4 of my 5 pp's in todays mail. I will be busy today and tonight getting the replys ready.

Question for the group. How common is it for pp's to me moved from one facility to another? 2 of my 4 pp's are getting moved, both seem to be happy about it.

    Robert

    It is quite common....

My husband was in 3 different facilities in 6 months time. They just transferred him for no apparent reason. It really sucks when you go to visit just to have them tell you he is no longer there. Alot of times they don't give the inmate any advanced notice either.

One PP was recently transferred because he got into an argument with another inmate
Another PP is awaiting a transfer next month.

My pp was transferred too two weeks ago. For him it was good. For me it was ... well, I hate to wait for a letter telling me where he is now. And it takes some time for mail get forwarded to the new facility. But as long as my pp is happy about the transfer, what can I say? lol

Federal inmates seem to move across the country a lot and the mail is never forwarded. Only in the last two yaers have the folks in Florida played the merry-go-round, I am not sure how the state can afford it.

Moves are common especially when their is a reclassification, when they are close to their release date and going to camp, going back to court and with interstate transfers they move a lot from all i have experienced with my friends. It can be a blessing or a curse for them depending on where they land and why i guess, and for me having to wait for mail and word can at times leave me feeling a little concerned as to how they are doing, if they have enough personal supplies etc. I disiked hearing some of the things that have been shared in the past, so i worry as well.
