Hey everybody ! Just wanted to know if someone has a penpal in the california correctional center...and how long it takes to receive letters from them...tahnk you and i really need an answer !!!

My PP is not in california he is in Angola in Louisiana and i usually get 2 letters per week and i am in the United Kingdom i hope this helps

Because I live in a city with an intercontinental airport mail goes out quick and comes in fairly well. California get here is 4 days though it seems to get into the inmates hands in 10 days..

Well it all depends, not a lot to go on so can you help us to help you?

Where is your pp located? What level of security is your pp on?

No details needed other than the location and level of security then some of us might be able to help.

If I can I will, just need more info and I'm sure others might be more specific in their help also. PM might be a good way to go here so no privacy issues are violated.

Not a good idea to share to much information on where a pp friend is. Be it on the forum or thru pms, best to keep things private.

I had a pp friend in California and it took about 5-6 days to recieve his mail from there, about 3-4 for mine to get to him.

I recommend not sharing information that could identify your pal with anyone It's safer that way.

I live in Georgia, my pal is in corcoran in the shu and our letters take 4 to 7 days.
