I was wondering if anyone knew a PP from PA, Canaan?? I was told by my PP that he has a limit on the number of minutes he can be on the phone is this true???? My g/f had a PP once and they could talk for hours on the phone - but with mine after like 10 - 15 it cuts us off and then he said he can't make another call for a 1/2 hour! Is this even true? Am I being paranoid? I just want to be sure he does not have a bunch of chicks he talks to or something and that's why he can't talk to me for long anymore ?? anyone ever heard of these rules in another prison too?

hi joey's girl i do have a friend myself in pa we can call for 15 minutes but i'm from overseas and i'm not sure it counts for people in the us too.
maybe you can watch prisons website about their rules or call them good luck x whiterose.

it's possible that he told you the truth. i have a pen pal whom's calls are 15 minutes long, on the other end my other pal calls last 30 minutes. the best is to call the facility to find out.

There are facilities that only allow the inmate one 15 minute call per day, so yes, this is believable.

In Texas, they get 5 minutes every three months.

My wife is an inmate at a federal facility. It is true that they only get 15 minute phone calls. After 15 minutes it will automatically shut you off. If you listen when it gets close to the end of the 15 minutes you will start hearing a short series of beeps that is a warning that your call is about to end. Then they do have to wait 30 minutes before they can make another phone call. I hope this will help to ease your mind.
