One of my pals sends me origami, and I've tried taking his apart and following the folds that way. It's very tough until you figure it out. He is very good and has sent all kinds of animals, sea life, and even a chess set.

I made a bird! A whole non-mangled easily recognisable bird! I'm so happy!
