    Default Anyone Know How Long????

Anyone have any idea how long it is going to take for them to straighten out this site.

I have been a long time supporter of WAP but I have to tell you I am growing weary of the wait to "upgrade" the site.

I sent an address change in a month ago with the $10. No change posted but they got my $10 right quick!!

I notice that many of the "old hands" are wandering off to places unknown. While some may think that losing the 'old-timers' is no big deal...a reminder...these are the people with the experience, the ones who have been down the road and have the answers to many of the questions asked here.

The whole thing is getting very frustrating!!

I agree Tom,,,it is getting frustrating and lots of patience over the long time coming.

I also agree about the "old timers" in remarks,, no loss,,,, I beg to differ ....we have been a big support in so many ways....... we have paid for ads,,, or our loved ones ,,, family,, and here to support the new,, questions and warnings also,,,, with infor and emotional,,we have been here also a long time due to, we try to follow rules of the forum,,, we would like the same respect. and not be told many new,,, so were not needed or wanted ...I hope I never read again as in the past ....

Love WAP and hope this all works out....Jon and I both showed a lot of respect to this,,and time,, WAP as a whole and the forum we believe.

I agree with you both about old timers disapeering.

I recently had a chat with another WAP member and we both agreed thre's not enough people posting messages on here at the mo - which is why I started a thread called 'Where is eyeryone'. (Which incedentally got something like 6 replies....)

I've only been here since March of this year - but I try and answer people question/give advice etc whenever I get the chance. I have also received some great advice over those months.

If I was a newbie I'd probobly start to wonder what the point is of posting a question if I was only going to get one or two responses anyway!

I'm also wary of seeing the same names popping up all the time and perhaps people thinking 'oh no, not hammondshamster posting again...'

I agree. We have been told time after time, "Be patient", but how long can you be patient when this keeps going on & on? That is why I found another site that keeps it's promises to members. I started with WAP but have grown tired of all the promises, then before that, the drama that seemed to haunt this site. It really isn't what it used to be. Sorry, just my opinion!

I agree with you all too. Seems they would notice that they are losing all the old timers, the ones that stayed true to this site. A few of my pals waited months for there ads to get up or have changes made to them.

    Hello all,

yes it seems that there have been many many problems with this website and I wish that I could shed some light as to why or what is happening.

I too have experienced extraordinary difficulties even getting onto the forum and when one is in hurry to check in and it won't download it all gets very frustrating so I do sympathise with you all.

As for the administration of WAP I regret I cannot comment but I can only advise that you e-mail them with your concerns and I sincerely hope that someone will be able to assist you.

As always it is sad when people feel the need to leave a forum but you must,if you so desire to,vote with your feet...you will be missed should any of you choose to depart and I ask that we all try and be patient a little longer whilst whatever ails WAP is dealt with.

I am sorry that I cannot help any more than offer you all my best wishes and my sincere hopes that things return to normal once more as soon as possible.

    Kindest regards

    Andrew

Does it really take this long to improve a web site? I thought things these days, with all the advances, moved faster. I think the pony express hit this site. A real let down to those that have been around a while!
