I'm new here and just wanted to say hello to everyone. I found this site when I was trying to locate a friend of mine who is incarcerated. But then once I was here, I decided to write to a few strangers. Hopefully I'll get replies. Do the people here normally get replies easily, or do you have to write to several people before getting replies? Just wondering.

I only have 1 PP, but I have written to 4. The other 3 did respond, but for one reason, or another, we didn't continue.
But, I have always had good luck in getting responses. And there are those who have not.
Perhaps one advantage is that I write to more mature ladies and I don't think that they get as much mail as the young and the beautiful inmates.
I hope that you are able to find a very nice friend. :-)

I wrote to 6 in the beginning and waited MONTHS for the first reply, so in the interrum, I wrote to a further 4, then started getting replies from the first 6 and the following 4, giving me a total of ten pals.. THEN.. I got a bunch of letters from unknown people in different prisons, and that brought my number of pals sky rocketing... But the nice thing is that.. no matter how often I go to my post box, there are always letters there for me from my pals...
