Do You Believe in Angels?

Do you believe in Angels?
Are they floating in the sky,
Are they sitting right beside you,
Are they with you when you die?

Do they watch you when you’re sleeping?
Do they see the things you do,
Do they know your every movement,
Do they keep you close in view?

Are they with you when you’re weary
Or when you want to cry,
Do they sense all your frustrations
And feel your heavy sighs?

Do they feel your lonely moments
When you try to do it all,
Do they stretch their hands out to you
And catch you when you fall?

I think they know a lot of things
And know just what is right,
I think they take good care of us
Each and every night.

There’s someone watching over you
Who cares about what you do,
There’s someone standing there for you
To help you make it through.

You may not always see them,
Or recognize their touch,
But you’ll feel the love inside you
That they want to share so much.

They may not seem angelic
Or all be dressed in white.
They may not spread their wings
And descend to us in flight.

They are people that you see each day
And pass along the street.
They are people standing next to you
Or sharing your same seat.

You see, the Lord sends Messengers
To those who truly seek.
He sends them to the ones who care
To build you when you’re weak.

It may just be a neighbor
Who goes the extra mile.
Or even the instructor
Who shares it with a smile.

It may just be a helping hand
Or simply a kind act.
Done by someone close to you
Who really knows the facts.

It’s common souls like you and I
Who help out those in need.
If we will listen closely
Then His sheep was can give feed.

For everyone’s an angel
To someone else on earth.
We all have things to give
To let others know their worth.

So you believe in Angels?
I know that they exist.
I know they’re walking around
And I can tell you this…

The Lord performs His miracles
Through people just like you.
If you will open up your heart
He’ll tell you what to do.

I believe in all kinds of angels, they appear in all forms... most recently those that have appeared to me have been what many call 'True Friends'.

I believe in living angels.

I always think of underpaid nurses.

the sceptic here... Yes, i believe in angels as in the metaphor - the underpaid nurses, policemen, paramedics and so on, here on earth. Not too sure that I believe in 'people floating around above me', watching me and so on, otherwise i am sure that a couple of the things that have happened to me simply wouldnt have happened.

hope that i dont offend anyone here, but when it comes to religion, i am not there, i'm afraid..

Based on some situations I've been in in my lifetime, I definitely believe in angels and I thank God for them.

I believe that someone or something is there for all of us at those times in our life.
