    Default I'm Back...At Least the Rebuilt Model Is!

    I'm Back!

    My heart had the unmitigated gall to attack me without warning...although with some provocation... a couple of weeks ago and landed me in hospital.

    They poked and prodded and did what they needed to in order to rebuild the pump...the details of which I am sure no one has any interst in hearing about. Had a close call the evening after the surgery but the excellent nurses caring for me took care of all that.

    All in all a terrifying experience with a satisfying outcome.

    I am on the bench for a while but after all the excitement I can use the rest!

    Thanks to the wylie for keeping my friends apprised of my situation.

    It sures feels good to be back among the good people!

    Tom - I am so glad to hear you are on the mend. I have worked for cardiologists for many years so have some idea what you have been through. I'm sure you have already been told to "do what your doctor tells you" but that is a pretty good rule of thumb.

    Just remember you are over the worse part and on your way to better and happier days.
    We missed you terribly and are so glad to have you back!!!
