Help! I need an idea.....
Okay, here is my dilemma! I have a pp that is in the federal state penn. Anyway, for Christmas, the inmates can not except any type of presents.
The only thing that the inmates are allowed to accept is cards, letters, and pictures. Well I can put money into his account too.
I want to do something special for my pp! I am going to put money in his account, but I want to send him something special that he'll be able to open for Christmas. Any ideas that anyone has, since I can only send cards, pictures, and letters? I can use stickers and stuff, but I want to do something creative that he'll enjoy.
Okay, I'll be waiting, thanks everyone for your ideas, whoever may respond

Okay - here is a fun idea. Why don't you do a series of photo's of you with the theme of the 12 days of christmas??? You can take them to photo places and give them boarders etc.... dress yourself up in the pictures, take photo's of you in a pear tree etc. I am sure he would love something creative like that... It would take heaps of effort and that would mean so much to them I think. You can be very creative without having to send actual "gifts" Hope this helps!

some others were talking about adopting stars, or naming stars, or possibly plant a tree in his name, you could always find a charity and donate money to them in his name?

Another idea is to take a pic of the two of you and make it a watermark and write a poem and layer the text over the pic and print it out...

Maybe you could take a whole bunch of different pictures, and make a small collage out of it?

Sergi, you can use a Kodak Picture Making machine (Wal-Mart is the best place)and put all kinds of borders and text on pictures.
One of my pps had a picture taken with his mom and I duplicated it and put "I love my mom" across his t-shirt so he could send it back to her.
Another one of my pps, I put a year's calendar around his photo and made several copies for him to send to family and friends.
There are all kinds of creative things you can do to pictures on that machine for about 26 cents per 4x6 picture. They have borders for every season or holiday so maybe you could send your pp a gift of a "picture-of-the-month" club.
I also like those previous ideas of superimposing your picture onto one of his pictures.
