What are the approximate percentages of inmates who actually do get parole - if they are in for life with possible parole?

It depends entiorely on the state. Soime have no parole at all! You would have to use the specific Parole Commission website for the stets, if they even have one, then try yo dif up its annual report....that will usually tell you the number of applications heard and the number granted.
Hope this helps

Let me try that again.
It depends entirely on the state. Some have no parole at all.
However, you can go to the Parole Commission website for the state, if they even have one, look up the latest annual report which should contain the number of applications they dealt with and how they dealt with them. From those numbers you should be able to calculate the percentage.
That's better.
Hope this helps.
