LOL! Of course, I know how men and women differ...Just thought that perhaps there might be some differences in the kinds of things that go on there, in terms of behaviour, etc.

I don't really know that much about women's prisons, and nothing about men's. But, my female PP, in Texas, complains that men have access to a lot more classes, and that they are better informed. In the days when inmates were allowed to communicate, the men always heard about rule changes, and that sort of thing, and passed them on to the women.
On the other hand (and this may only be wishfull thinking), I don't think that women's prisons are nearly as brutal. At least from the aspect of inmates beating and killing one another. At least this is a topic that my PP has never mentioned. Although she does say that you have to be ready to fight. Any sign of weakness encourages others to take advantage.
