I was wondering if anyone has ever had the experience of writing an inmate for the first time and never recieve a reply?I have written about 5 pps and 2 of them never replyed to my letter. Well, one was on death row (maybe the state put him to death) and the other was a gorgous man.

Once. I didn`t hear anything back.
UNTIL 8 months later!!! He`d been transferred, and he had only just received my letter.
Apart from that, I have had replies fairly quickly.
I Guess it can depend on many things as to whether they reply.
Sometimes they have had ads up for a long time too; and their circumstances change.

I think that others have experienced this, and it was discussed some time ago. Many have suggested that they may get swamped with replies, and can't write to everyone or they may not be able to afford the stamps, envelopes, or whatever, when someone does write. The other possibility is that they may simply not feel compatible with the writer. When we go through the ads, trying to decide who we might like to write to, how many do we by-pass? I'm sure that they go through the same process of elimination that we do.

I have a friend who is in an Australian prison, he is Canadian, looking for soemone to write to. He did something stupid and now he's in prison. He is a caring guy, loves a chat, would love to write to someone. Private message if your interested.

Hi.... same story as the other thread - you wont have much luck posting in threads that are this old. Maybe try taking out a pp add for him? If money is the issue I'm sure there's other places that can do it for free

There are many threads with that same post, but worded slightly different.

i had it with 2.i wrote to them, but never got any reply's back.
