I want to send legal pads and envelopes to an inmate in Texas (Allred) Does anyone know what quantity of envelopes and pads I can send at once?

"Stationery (defined as paper, unstamped envelopes, carbon paper, but excluding paper or envelopes with names, addresses or letterhead) may be mailed to offenders only from legitimate vendors or suppliers of stationery. Items such as food, clothing, jewelry, and toiletries may not be mailed to offenders. Individuals may not mail packages to offenders.

It doesn't say anything about quantities that I could find.

As long as they are sent from a 'store' and contain no staples, you can send all that you really want.

I send my guy legal pads that are 'gummed' or glued and not stapled, and I send him a box of 500 envelopes at once, and have never had an issue.

The texas prisons all seem to be pretty constant with one another.

I order from staples and office depot.

They must be sent from a third party/"store" and contain an invoice

CET, I've sent my pp in Allred items from Officemax.com & Officedepot.com. I believe the most I've sent at a time is 2 (12) packs of legal pads & 500 envelopes.Have never had a problem, the ladies in the mail room have always been kind.

The No Staples part is very important in Texas. My pp recommended me a place,which sent some notebooks to her at a good price.

Thanks, I ordered on line from Prisonmailcall.com and I knew about gumed labels, just didn't know the quanity.
