    Thanks Ian,
    I do believe that the 4th of July is my favorite holiday. Good weather, lots of excitement, fireworks, good food, fun with family. It can't be beat.

    Keeping my PP in my heart today as I wish he was here to join us for the fun! It is so much fun to go out and watch fireworks in 113 degrees. But really.... ENJOY YOUR DAY!

    Vanessa, I'm surprised at you needing a history lesson??? We were busy fighting the French in Europe at this time, so didn't have our best batters stepping up to the plate, whereas George Washington had a good bullpen to pick from, even if they did take extra innings to force a result.
    As for the 'Surrender Monkeys', we gave Napolean's boys what for at Trafalgar and Waterloo!
