    Default Texas Executions

Today, May 19th, the great State of Texas executed Richard Cartwright and yesterday, May 18th they exeucted Brian Wolfe. My heart goes out to the families and friends of these two men and to the families and friends of their victims. Will this death penalty madness ever end?

More victims of the relentless Texas Killing Machine.

I always read Richards Uncensored from Death Row.

I am sickened, I spent the good part of the day yesterday with friends of richard cartwright on another message board, it was an extreme long day and very sad.

Sad that we can kill another human being on the basis of finger-pointing . They had no true evidence. Im not saying he is innocent or guilty, but to kill someone with lack of evidence is scary.

I have lost faith in our justice system.

    Hi Danielle,

My DRPP was convicted on the hearsay of two so called witnesses, there is no physical evidence, and no body was ever found. The witness statements conflict and the whole thing is a sham. He has been on DR for 22 years. That is way worse than actually being executed! I am disgusted by the whole legal system.

    Sylphette,

22 years??? May I ask what state he is in?? Is he at the end of his appeals yet?? I have 2 pals on DR one in Ok, he has been there for 12 years, one in Florida who has been there for 17 years.
What is the sense of keeping these men on Dr for years and years, and then just kill them, it makes no sense, is there closure? no.
I could ramble on, death penalty Im very passionate about and not alot of people are.

Daniella, I was probably exactly where you were yesterday, with Rich's friends on the message board. Sad . . .

Feline, I too have been reading his "Uncensoreds" for the past few months. It always amazed me how he could put his thoughts on paper, under those extreme circumstances.

    RIP Bryan and Richard

I think it is very sad too.
    And not just Richard.
All of those people who exist like some kind of sub-humans on DR.

I am so upset and angry about Richard, I don`t trust myself to say what I really think!!
Because Wolf would have to delete it.

There was a high profile lady in TX, that by the time she was put to death in TX, she was a totally different person for the good and I believe not phony at all the change showed in her being not just words,,, if nothing else she could have become a positive influence inside the walls for life but, the state of Tx did not see that side obviously and "Bush" at that time denied.
To me there are so many reasons I am against it as above situation and cases not clear on guilt or some even close and much more I could go on and on ............ this caught my attention as putting in quick reply to another post(smile) bye

True Peanut, most of my pals are not the same people they were when they went in. And the same for us, can we say we are the same people we were 18 years ago?? no.
