Do you ever have those days where it seems like every one you come in contact with is 11 eggs short of a dozen?

I seem to be having those days quite often.

Ever Since I moved here (Tennessissippi) , It seems like I am always having days where I don't understand someone or what they say is just so far out there.

I don't know if I am home sick and the littlest things are getting to me or if the people I come in contact with are really challenged.

If you could see the traffic I drive in every day you would see where all of my stress comes from. The people here can not drive. I see the most bizarre things on my way to and from work. One day I saw a lady pulled over on the side of the road taking a leak so to speak... I have seen it all.

I just can't seem to figure out the "Why Me" in all of this arrrrgh. Maybe I am just home sick.

I know exactly what you're talking about. And, I have those days quite often these days myself. Perhaps you ARE just homesick, but it may just be that you're dealing with some real idiots! Too, it could be a symptom of depression. Which could be from being homesick too.

It sounds like you are homesick, but it also sounds a little too backwards for your taste; just a guess! I live in Connecticut, and where I live is too populated, not even a big town, by any means.

The people here drive like maniacs! I'm surprised one of them hasn't killed me yet.

No one, on the roads these days has any consideration; they cut everyone off, pull out in front of everyone, and no one takes turns giving someone a break. Are there rest stops down there, or any bathrooms provided or even McDonald's or gas stations?

Maybe the Tennesee part is okay, but not the Missippi part? And think, does this place have any good points about it?

I plan to move, somewhere, soon, in the next few months. A place with little snow, more rural, and a smaller traffic system.

I don't see you as being depressed from your posts on the board; I see you as someone who brings joy to others, so I would say its them, not you! Still, with these drivers, I find it unpleasant to drive around anymore, unless I'm out in the country. I also thought Tenessee would be beautiful; maybe it's the Missippi part, that is not for you. You sound like a very kind person, and I'm sure they aren't many people like you around, Skye!

Skye I think it maybe a combination of things. All of the above. I get home sick too, it took me awhile to get used to NJ. And some of the people were alittle "out there". Some days I think its just a full moon..seems like it almost everyday.
But things will get better!!!

Where did you live before that Skye?

I grew up in the mid/south west and I did a year in the deep south. The life-style there was just different enough that I didn't folks and they didn't get me!
