I have a son that may go to Prison Boot Camp or Federal Prison. Does anyone know about doing time in boot camp? Or doing time in Federal Prison?

Boot Camp is an option available for either a state or Federal prison. The difference between a boot camp program and a traditional prison program is the boot camp is very intense and very rigorous. Generally, boot camp is afforded to less serious crimes, usually for youthful and first time offenders and non-violent offenders. Career criminals are usually not eligible.

Traditionally there is a high success rate for inmates that go through a boot camp program. I say if someone is going through a boot camp program, it's a good thing.
