Hi everyone - Im new on here and I just wanted to let you know that I have been writing to around 5 penpals (4 in the states and 1 in Thailand)for about 3 months and I cannot believe what a difference it has made in my life and also (judging by the letters Ive have)what a difference it seems to have made to my pp's. To actually be "helping" someone just by writing about my little life is just so cool and I run home every night seeing if I have a letter - all the best to all of you x

I think that we all understand and feel the same way that you do. There is something about the intimacy of a written letter that brings you closer to the person that you are writing to.

Chelseagirl, you sound a whole lot like the rest of us. Sometimes it's hard to work out who actually benefits more from all this letter writing, us or our pals. But it's definately all good.
