I went and saw my friend Lloyd today. He is not technically a "prison pal" per say because i knew him prior to his arrest....but regardless, i started writing him once i started this whole pen pal thing...we have become very very good friends....my husband is going to be on the list too...lloyd already added him but we wanted to just turn in the ap when i showed up in person....

the visit was awesome...we were all laughs...but i knew we would be...he and i have a ball in our letters...he did not know i was coming...i didnt even tell him i was approved on his list...what made it even greater was that when they get him for the visit, they do not tell him who is there haha....

we were jipped though on the visit..it was supposed to start at 10:45 and go until 2:15 for the holiday...normally it is 2:30-8:30...but anyways i get there...and they tell me i wont be in until at LEAST 11:15..i was like "why? it starts at 10:45" they said "well bunk count is at 11:00"...so what the heck? dont you think they should have had the visiting start at 11:30 then??? sheesh...so because it was a holiday all the levels get to have visits today so that is why it was shortened......but it was ok...we had a great time...i did not want to leave though, i swear he is like my little brother...he is like a young version of me...we have a lot of the same life experiences and personality traits...and he is so excited to meet my husband

Good for you, It sounds like you had a nice visit, although too bad it was shortened. He must have been very surprised to see you, which is awesome, always nice to surprise people.
